Play

Play started his musical journey shortly after meeting fellow band member Flukes at the age of 11 when the pair attended secondary school together.

Flukes and Play joined a DJ class at age 13 and it was here that Play’s knowledge and passion for music grew and began to mature. The aspiring DJ then purchased a pair of sound lab directed drive turn tables (the worst turn tables to possibly own) and the pair soon began collaborating on tracks together as a hobby which would later develop into the unique sound that is Crazy Cousinz.

Play has now been making Funky House for the past year an a half and has achieved radio play on BBC1xtra, Kiss FM and Choice FM. In addition to making music, Play has been part of organising and promoting some of the most successful urban clubnights in London, hosted by Crazy Cousinz.

Play says: "I have always been a big fan of music whether it was singing along with tracks or dancing around like a mad man. I started to write lyrics at about 12 and started listening to tracks to work out how the concept of vocals fit on a piece of music. My aim now is to take Funky House worldwide!".
